Oriental Journey Through Queensland Exhibition

Named by the ABC and the Courier Mail as Queensland's largest Chinese history exhibition. The exhibit tell the untold stories of life as Chinese migrant in Queensland since the mid 19th century.

Created in partnership between the Australian Chinese General Chamber of Business, Queensland Museum and Melbourne's famous Australian Chinese Museum, the exhibit of 33 panels accompanied by artefacts was made open to the public at Queensland Parliament House and Brisbane China Town.

Over 8,000 visitors walked through the exhibit that explore Chinese migrants' history on the gold and sugar fields of Northern and Central Queensland.
